Selection Rounds

ELEATION’s placement selection procedure

Please read each round carefully. Only shortlisted candidates will move to the next stage.

01

First Round: Online Technical Test

The first round is an online technical test designed to evaluate the candidate’s fundamental technical understanding and readiness for the next stage.

  • The test may contain multiple-choice questions and technical problem-based questions.
  • Questions may be based on CAE, finite element method, finite element analysis, mechanics and engineering fundamentals.
  • The test duration, total marks, qualifying marks and schedule will be communicated before the test.
  • Candidates must complete the test within the allowed time window.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the next round as per ELEATION’s process.
02

Second Round: Technical Interview

Candidates clearing the online technical test will be invited for a technical interview. This round evaluates conceptual clarity, problem-solving approach and communication.

  • The technical interview may be conducted through phone call or online meeting.
  • The interview will generally be one-to-one with the evaluator.
  • Questions may be related to strength of materials, mechanics, FEA/FEM and simulation workflow.
  • Candidates may also be asked about academic projects, internship work or practical exposure.
  • Only shortlisted candidates from this round will move to the practical assessment round.
03

Third Round: Practical Tool / Case Study Test

Candidates clearing the technical interview may be given a practical problem, tool-based task or engineering case-study assessment to evaluate applied skills.

  • The practical test may be conducted online or as per ELEATION’s decided process.
  • Candidates may be given a problem statement or engineering task to solve.
  • During online evaluation, candidates may be asked to share their screen for monitoring.
  • Candidates may need to prepare a short solution report explaining their approach and conclusion.
  • Evaluation will be based on technical approach, accuracy, reporting and professional discipline.
04

Fourth Round: HR Discussion and Offer Process

Candidates clearing the practical round will move to the HR discussion. This round covers role expectations, joining process and final selection communication.

  • The HR discussion may be conducted through phone call or online meeting.
  • Selected candidates will be informed about the role, joining process and working expectations.
  • Offer details, compensation, joining date and location will be shared officially with selected candidates.
  • Final selection is subject to complete evaluation and management approval.
  • All official communication will be sent through ELEATION’s authorized communication channels.
